Copywriter.
We’re searching for an experienced, strategic copywriter who lives for crafting personality into words. Candidates should be familiar with writing voice guidelines, taglines, web copy, collateral, social copy, etc. Reports to the Founder/Creative director.
Tasks include:
Ability to attend and participate in strategy sessions with client.
Synthesize notes from strategy into positioning statements (persona outline, mission/vision statements, core values, market fit, etc).
Strong command of written word and ability to translate brand vibe into tone of voice (with examples)
Organization of client-facing deliverables via Google Docs.
Familiarity with writing high level content outlines, creative briefs, site maps and wireframes.
Ensuring feedback from clients is applied to creative rounds before it is sent to creative director.
Delivery of rounds to creative director for feedback.
Communication with creative team via Slack, email and phone.
Correspondence with clients for feedback and deliverables.
Qualifications:
College degree or work experience equivalent required.
Previous experience in copywriting for brands is required.
Previous experience in an agency and/or startup environment is preferred.
Familiarity with creative process, branding terminology, and agency cadence is a huge plus.

Pay Rate: $65-$75+ per hour
