Sow Eden provides a holistic approach to the effects of chronic illness through high quality, farm-to-bottle CBD products.
Challenge
We knew Sow Eden had a superior product, unmatched knowledge of the benefits of CBD on chronic illness, and passion for their industry in spades. Their previous brand was professional, but it fell short in communicating the holistic vibe the founders wanted. As a small business, we knew we needed to position the company to compete in a growing market with a new strategy that would resonate with a niche audience.
Opportunity
We found space for this brand by positioning them to serve a younger audience with chronic illnesses that were already exploring natural remedies to treat symptoms. Leaning into the work the company was already doing to educate customers on natural medicine as a first line of defense, we recognized this brand was not just about a better overall product, but empowering their customers with research, content and initiatives to help them find the best approach to a healthier, happier life.
Solution
Starting with our strategic branding process that gave the brand a competitive edge, we crafted a holistic, honest and transparent concept with a warm, welcoming tone. We overhauled the brand messaging including the mission, vision, and core values. Representing the brand’s organic ingredients, we selected an earthy color palette and typography that evoked both stability and approachability. To give the product polish, we reimagined a simple, clean label design and packaging with some shelf appeal. We produced a product photoshoot with a prop stylist who helped bring the story to life. Finally, we designed, developed and wrote copy for the e-commerce website to ensure the overall customer experience was seamless from landing page to purchase.
Results
Within one week of launching their re-brand, Sow Eden saw a 40% boost in sales, both from new customers and repeat sales from existing customers. The founders were able to streamline their efforts to appeal to their key demographic, creating efficiency in their marketing message, efforts, and spend.
